When you take the time to observe a horse, you will begin to notice how fascinating they are – and if you are lucky enough to witness one gallop, the sound of freedom in their hooves will move you.
Free Spirit resembles what it is to let yourself run wild in the wonders of life, and to explore and play in your creative endeavours. Producing this painting was an exciting experience, one that I was unsure of the outcome as I intended this painting as a challenge to myself: to let myself go and trust the artistic process from beginning to completion. To which the outcome turned out greater than I had ever imagined – a pronounced representation of freedom.
