Elegance is themed by ethereal manner, which has allowed for the grace and movement of this illustrated horse to radiate in the charcoal and pencil medium. The progress images depict the piece from beginning to completion, demonstrating the many layers of artistic design applied to achieve a depth of tone within the darker components of the piece. Due to the inclusion of a bridle, this horse differs from my other pieces; I believed that the inclusion of the bridle was necessary to create the vision I held for this piece to be of a working horse at dance. Hence inspiring the name Elegance.
